Hi Guys,
Been cold wet and windy this weekend so I thought I would have a go and hook up to my Roland Drumkit to my Computer and see if I could get it to record.
I am using a Eurorack UB 1204 Pro Mixer and I set it up as per the instructions on here :-

What I did notice is that in this statement
"The subgroup (ALT 3-4) connects to the soundcard line in. The soundcard line out connects to any two available line inputs. The can be aux returns, tape ins, or channel line inputs (preferred). "
I could only record if I pluged the ALT 3-4 connections to the Microphone on the soundcard not the line in jack, could this also be correct ? or ???
I am getting some Humming or Buzzing that I never had before I hooked up the computer, is this because the soundcard is a onboard no name built into the motherboard???
If so, I have a firewire port or spare PCI slots, what would you buy for around 200 - 250 dollers for an Audio Card ?????
