Has anyone had this retro-fitted to there guitar? If so who did it and how much. Was it worth it? It seems to have some pretty credible endorsers(satriani, vai etc.)Some high end guitar makers such as Anderson, and suhr are making all there guitars with this system in place.I beleive the only company making a less expensive guitar with Feiten is Washburn. Im just curious as to why if this is such a revolutionary advance in tuning that everyone isn't using it? Are they just not willing to pay the licensing fees?

I'd like to know as well. Be sure to go back about 3 pages or so to my post, "seeking perfect intonation", which kicked off a whole load of discussion on this tuning system. Headroom provided a thesis on the technical details.

everybody tunes wrong (perfect)

The problem with the system is that it doesnt compensate for the human tendency to tune to perfect intervals when for good intonation up and down the neck you need tempering. My understanding is that he changes the nut position slightly back to alter the scale length. Most people can't hear the microtonal difference we are haggling about anyway.Better to get an accurate tuner and use it often.
