I may be mistaken on this, but I think they only sell them direct.

Hmm, the current auction I'm looking at Atlas charges for shipping, and they don't seem to do the free thing as a matter of course.

I know Nathan at Atlas is a good guy, and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them, but there are good reasons to give Mercenary consideration for you purchases: first, they double all warranties on products, and second, their return policy is ridiculously generous. (Don't anyone abuse that courtesy and end it for the rest of us.) Now I wouldn't worry much about needing the warranty on an RNC, or about not being happy with the box, but I'm kind of sick of seeing these "best price" threads, because sometimes you are in fact paying for less. Mercenary's price on the RNC is as good as anyone else's in this case, and you still get the extra coverage. Maybe its worth some shipping charges. I'll gladly give Atlas the sale on something Mercenary doesn't cary, but if both carry it, I have to evaluate all of what I'm getting for the respective price.

Ditto on Mercenary Audio, I got mine there too, and the service was great!

I'd recommend Mercenary Audio over any other seller(other than direct of course). The world could use more Fletchers so give him your money and keep places like that open. Just my opinion.

Vroom, Vroom....

Ditto on Mercenary Audio. And while you're there, especially if you're thinking of buying a pair of them, check out the crazy Funk Logic faceplates/trays for a pair of RNCs: the '69 Merc and the Chevy II. Right now, if you buy 2 RNCs and the '69 Merc faceplate at the same time, you save $15 ($380 vs. $395 if purchased separately). Cool.

Mercenary also carries Funk Logic's series of fake components, which can help clean up that clutter of cables while messing with people's minds. All of this madness can be found by clicking on the left-hand-column item labeled "What's Cheap."
