Buying Drums

Please excuse my supidity but do drums have a sertain life to them. I am thinking about buying a second hand set from Here. They are: Roland TD6 Eletronic Drums, EXTRA TD 120 PAD & CASE.

Are these any good? Will they crap out on me 6 months down the line?

i have always heard that drums are like fine wine. the older they get the better they sound if properly taken care of. thats acoustic drums though. i dont have much experience with electronic drums but i would assume age affects them in a different matter. some one can correct me if im wrong.
