I have a pair of KRK V4's and decided it's time I get a subwoofer so I can get a better grasp at the lows, instead of guessing.
I was looking at two different models on Ebay. Both KRK, one is a S12S 12" woofer, self powered. The other is the 10s 10" self powered model. I guess my question is does mixing & matching series' matter (I noticed that the V models are no longer being made)? And is there really that large of a difference between the 12" and the 10" models I can get off Ebay? The Ebay options are going for about $100 each, new would be almost $400.
