Its been a while since I've been here so I appreciate my rep is low - but please some feedback on the mix would be great.

SoundClick seems to have up the bass a bit with its compression - so not sure about that

Just as a matter of taste I'm probably raise the keyboard part. THe whole thing sound pretty good. It's a great tune and your vocals are outstanding.!!!:):D:):D

Cheers - on the keys; tone or what is being played?

Cheers - didn't know who he was but a Goog sorted that - yeah I hear it. Paul Weller was probably a big thought in my head when I put this arrangement together.

Cool song dude. Drums sound real fake, but guess they don't have to sound real. The bass drum is drowned out on a lot of parts. It works, but no fire works. Sounds old school. :D

The vocals do a good job of being the focal point of the song.

Wow... First thing I notice is the harshness of the vocals. I'd reduce the EQ in the 2.5-3.5 range, see if ya can't tame those freqs in the vocals... Pretty harsh.

The song itself sounds pretty nice, albeit a bit raw for this genre. But yeah.. I'm having a hard time focusing on anything other than those grating frequencies of the vocals... I'd work on that first.

Thx u for comments.

Yes drums, unapologetically quarterised with snare and foot sampled (rough cut) from Amy Winehouse track. I was after a retro vibe but with a sequenced drum feel.

Will play around with Vox Eq - this was a headphone mix - have to wait to the weekend to get my monitors on!

Cheers
