im having problems burning my mp3s and wavs to a cd on my new hp computer. Im using sonar and a firepod when i try to burn with windows media player, it says interface not registered. Do I need a burning program????? whats up with this?

funny,
today i burned an audio cd with windows media player, for the first time in my life, i detest Windows and all its components so dont ever use it at home,

i suggest you use a real burning application, is easier to configure and stuff,

i got nero 6 cause it came with my asus dvd burner, YEAH, the official version

i advice this app, works fine, real easy for cds and dvds

if you use XP it is very simple. Select files and copy. Then paste them into your cdr drive. If you view the contents of the drive you will see the files grayed out. Select the files then choose the option to the left that says write files to cd. Then bam your off.

thats what ive been doing but it takes it to windows media player and says interface not registered
