Does anyone know if I can burn a MIDI file to a Audio CD for use in a regular CD player

I use midi files for gigs and burn them to a cd using a sound module. You play the midi file and run the outs of the module or sound card to a separate burner. I can rent a stand alone HHB burner from my music store for $25 a weekend. It makes it so simple.....like a cassette deck really. I have a burner on my computer but it is a lot more of a hassle.

Hi tjm
I just play the midi file with my midi program/sequencer and record it with
Cool Edit.. Sound Forge of the windows recorder then once its a wave file you can burn it
