bunk pot?

I disassembled my Fernandes strat knock off today to just what kind of crappy electronics might be in there (very low output, anemic highs). I found a funky volume pot that has me scratching my head. With the volume fully closed, I'm getting 6k ohms between terminals 3/2, wide open 6k ohms between 2/1, and at dead center 70k ohms on both sides. I haven't played this guitar in a while but I remember the volume knob functioning like it should. What kind of crazy pot is this? The tone pot measured 238k ohms, which seems normal.

Spray some cleaner in there and work the pot like crazy-it should clean out the carbon gunk. I have one of those Fernandes Strats as well and the hardware is pretty decent-though mines probably 20 years old by now.
