Swag Type Heavy
it's been a while since ive made a song.
so, yesterday, i decided to.
i wrote it, made the beat, recorded it, and mixed it in one day.
i was pretty happy with it.
i go to listen to it today.
and the reason files were corrupted! (thats where i had it all sequeced out.)
so the only copy i had was the on my multitrack.
I burned it out. and it only plays out of 1 headphone.

this sucks.

Same thing kinda happened to me today. It took me like 15 takes to finally get down the verse and i had everything tracked and when I hit save, it crashed. So I went back and redid the one verse and hit save and... it crashed. I can't seem to save anything now. I try to save a second of silence and it crashes. It's weird because nothing like this has ever happened in the three years I've had the program... and my comp's not connected to the internet, so virus's are out of the question. Maybe it wasn't meant to be.

I'll try reinstalling it when I calm down a bit. Right now, I wanna throw it all out the window.

That would be a good thread, if people could keep it to a minimum.
"YOUR WORST RECORDNG EXPERIENCE" Shit would probably be funny as HEll!

For real. I had an experience like that long ago. It was with one of the earlier songs I did. Pissed me off. But what pissed me off more was when the hard drive I was using crashed about 4 months later. I only had the stuff that I burned on CD, the rest of it was GONE.

I had one..when i re-recorded one of my on beats and had it tight ..got my boys to flow over it..then lost the whole damn song(proable the main reason im lookin for a multitracl recorder) the song was hot it was called "mean muggin" i might redo one day another way..and now all the master from the two album we did while we were on deployment are on my external hard drive that died on me..so im tryin to recover the data to rework the cd..

Bknot, do you still have stuff on CD's that won't read or hard drives that won't read it? You might want to try a program called IsoBuster. I personally use that myself. Instead of reading only in certain formats, it finds every type of file and gives you the option to recover. I wish I had this back when I lost my hard drive. If I still had the hard drive, I'd probably use it to recover all that data.

i cant the hard drive to even access..it spins and click..i was goin to take it apart and put into another hard drive just to get the masters off of it..cause thats all i want now anyway...i might play around with again some time soon..
