[Boo Radley]

Here is a new one I just did with my band. I was shooting for sort of a STP/Nirvana feel on the mix. All of the songs I've put up thus far have been my "solo" material, so I'm anxious to see what y'all make of the group effort. Let me know what you think.

Sounds great man. No real nits from me. If anything, I think I may be hearing a very slight phase issue with the snare, but if so, its very faint. The vocals sound great and all the guitars sound just about right. Great job.

Greg...mighty sharp ears there. I miked the snare and hat together. I wanted to fatten up the snare so I (painstakingly) copied a sample over each snare hit. I couldn't use Drumagog because the hat was too loud. So...yes, we're getting a phase issue from the hat and the other mikes.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I guess I could relisten and move the snare hits I pasted in wherever there is a phase issue, but man, what a tedious task!!

Man, I wouldn't even worry about it. It's not bad, and 99.9999% of the people in the world would never even notice it. Just run with what you got.
