I have Logic Pro 9, an Apogee Duet, Reflection Filter & ProTools 9. I'm trying to build a studio in my home and I would like to know as far as a Sound Card/Interface, PreAmp, and mic what equipment should I purchase. My budget for these 3 items is $1500

I think you will need to tell people a little more to get valid recommendations!
1) What do you have for a computer? Firewire?
2) What are you going to be recording?
3) How many tracks at one time is the MOST you will want to record?
4) Do you have monitors? Headphones?
5) Room treatment?

Unless you want to record more than two tracks at a time, the Duet will do fine for your interface/preamp. Your mic will depend on what you are recording.
