We are trying to build a small recording booth. the demensions we have to work with are 6' X 5 1/2' X 8' high. What is the best material to use in between the wall studs and to coat them? Also we were going to use hardwood on the floor, and use an area rug when needed. What type of plexi glass should we use, for viewing into the room? how can we seal the door and viewing window properly? So basically we are not experieced in this kind of thing, but we have made recordings before using cool edit Pro. Any advice is much needed and required. Thanks.........

Double drywall the outside of the booth and single drywall the inside. Normal wall insulation or rockwool will work fine inside.

As for the window, I'd use glass - 2 layers with at least an inch between. The door can be sealed using stripping around the edges and you'll want a drop seal for the bottom.
