i am trying to put together a small array of microphones for recording speech.
i thought i'd save some money by using raw condenser mic capsules and building my own mics...
anyone have any tips/caveats/references for me?
i have found some mini caps with 60dB S/N, for like 75 cents a piece. (such as Pansonic WM-54PC at jameco)
anyone know where i can get mics elements with even better S/N and sensitivity (and frequency response)?
