BS with the BS-8! Help! SOS!

Man, I was sitting down to lay some tracks on my Boss BS-8 digital mixer... I was using the onboard tuner to tune my guitar and the LCD froze up. So I turned it off (BIG MISTAKE!). Then when I turned it back on, no LCD display showed up. So I unplugged the AC adapter and plugged it back in. Turned it on and it made the usual starting noise and the LCD flashed on but no information was displayed. And none of the buttons or knobs make it go. AND it won't turn off with the switch anymore, I have to unplug it but it doesnt really matter because it doesn't work anyway! Please help help!

Doesn't sound good.
I think I read of people having this problem on the Yahoo BR8 forum.

Search user groups on Yahoo and you will find the BR8 forum. It has been around for years, and if you search the archives you will probably find someone who had this problem in the past, and you may see how they fixed it.
