yeah good sound quality, the mix sounds pretty dang good in my cans as well.
one thing i found was the song dragged on. as in the same chords played throughout the whole song. maybe adding a different chorus or bridge or soemthign would mix it up a bit.
Guitars sound good. Nice space, nice airy quality. The vocals sounded a bit muffled but that's understandable since mixing has not been done. but it was nice overall.
Well, I think it's mostly in the mix really,
I use a RME Firefice and a SM58 for vocals and electric guitar recordings.
This was an Ovation acoustic recorded directly to an RME Multiface if I'm not wrong... The recording has been done a year ago so I can't really remember which soundcard I borrowed at the time.
As for the vocals, I actually replaced the mix initially uploaded with a modified one on which I took some mids out for the vocals.
(mix has been done but rather basically, using AKG271 headphones which are great BTW)
Blood, I didn't understand your question... Did you mean to ask what was the general sound (strings) or if they are live strings ? they come out of a Roland MKS-70 (the module version of JX10).
I still consider it a nice mix but I'm going to do it on monitors soon.
