ADD -- blessing and curse
I have a Telecaster at home that is missing a saddle screw. Does anyone know what size saddle screws are on a telecaster? I checked around on the web, and found full bridge assemblies, but I don't need the whole assembly, just one screw.

3/4" drywall screw oughta do it.

Actually, i saw a guy who built an entire tele from scratch and he used just regular brass screws that looked like they came from a wall outlet. He cut the head off and slotted it.

I take shit to the home depot all the time and test fit screws until I find the right one. Just push the threaded end through the plastic and screw it into your saddle. It should just be some standard thread.

They have a bag of 100 pickguard screws for like $.89 but they are zinc plated and look like shit. :D

Do you mean the saddle screws or the bridge plate screws?

There are quite a few different sizes depending on age and model. I would drop by TDPRI home department and ask there if it's the saddle screws you need to get them exactly right.

Perhaps a photo...I need a screw for this:

Just take another one out, and head to the hardware store. Alternative: email Fender, and they'll probably mail you a few to make you go away.
