BRICK ....point to point?

i have read many references to the BRICK being point to point yet in a recent photo of the internals i noticed it ACTUALLY WAS a dOUBLE SIDED P.C BOARD. :confused:
i've been thinking quite seriously of purchasing the BRICK but i'm concerned about heat prematurely destroying THE pc bOARD.
BTW does ANy one know WHAT THw voltage thE TUBES run?thanku :o
 
from what i've been reading the brick is a point to points circuit board with all components directly soldred tto each others.the voltage is pure hight voltage for the valves im sure. :)
