Hi
We r designing a 2-tier studio with a breeze-block shell, we want to avoid doing proper floating rooms for the sake of cost, does anyone know good recipes for sound insulation for this type of thing... we might do double breeze block walls, double doors, with a plasterboard+foam sandwich lining walls and ceilings, and possibly do floating floors, i.e. 2x4s on rubber u-boats, with thick chipboard+deadsheet on top. Does this make sense to anyone here?
