Breakout boxes

Is there such a thing as a breakout box with multiple USB 2.0 ports and a Firewire port, so I don't have to keep messing with the back of my computer and have cables dragging around on the floor?

ive never seen anything like that, but i do recall somebody on this board saying that the longest a firewire could be was 15 feet... if you were thinking of extending.
