How can I sync up my Boss DR5 to my br8? I would like it to work in the same way that the rhythm guide on the br8 works. When you push play it automatically starts.
Look at Pg 72 in the manual. Press 'Utility' use the cursor buttons, select the MIDI icon and press Enter. Use the cursor to select 'Rhythm MIDI ch., rotate the 'Time-Value' to MIDI Ch 10. On the DR-5 press the MIDI selection for 'slave'. The MIDI control on the BR-8 can only be used as a output or Master but by using MIDI Ch 10 it will control the DR-5.
