Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, please? I have got all my tracks recorded, and would like to put them onto my pc to burn to CD. But all it's letting me do is put one track at a time on there!
How do I make a master track/tracks, with the whole mix on it, so I can burn to CD? Help!!
Thanks
Craig

Alright, I hope this helps, I haven't used one of these boss standalone units in a little over a year... :o

By looking at pictures of the unit, it appears to be quite similar to the model I was using as far as mixdown features go. Assuming that you have an open stereo track, just select the recording mode as "bounce" (there is an led in the upper right hand corner that will light up when this mode is selected). After that, before you press the record and play buttons to bounce down your tracks, just make sure that you have all of your levels where you want them, effects how you like, so on and so forth. Arm your 5/6 or 7/8 stereo track hit the record button and then press play. I think this thing has virtual tracks, which are nice 'cause then you can try a couple of different mixes out and choose between them.

It's kind of fun to play with the volume sliders when bouncing, to get different results throughout the mix. After the bounce down is done to your liking, push that little button that makes it light up next to "mastering" and you can play around with the overall dynamics, eq, and whatnot if this unit offers that kind of functionality.

I was using a BR1180CD, so I think this should be a pretty standard procedure for the BOSS units. You can also skim through the manual for any other little perks of your recorder. ;)

Hey GlasgowCraig,

Just like Pikingrin mentioned in the above post, you will be required to at least bounce your tracks down to a stereo pair, preferably run it through the Mastering patch as a final cut to boost the overall signal strength and for the final tweaking of the combined bounced tracks. Once you have a stereo pair of tracks you are happy with import them into your PC and burn away!!
