Exactly what are you trying to do? The answer is YES, you can use it more than once, but you have to 'finish' ONE punch before setting the start/end points for a subsequent punch. If you are saying that you want to play the whole track through, and punch in on A and out on B...then continue uninterupted and punch in on X and out on Y....you can't do it. Now, if you have a pedal, I believe you can START/STOP record on the fly, so if there is enough room in the track where you want to get IN and OUT to do it by stepping on the pedal, then you could probably punch in/out as many times as you want, but not using the PUNCH IN/OUT buttons. There IS some ability with 'scene's to change effects settings on the fly by setting them up in advance, but there is no capability (that I'm aware of) to do this with the punch feature.
