Hey!,

I've been lookin' online and comparing the Korg D8 with the Boss BR-8 and here are some of the results:

PRICE:
Korg: $650
Boss: $695

SAMPLING RATE:
Korg: 44.1 kHz
Boss: 44.1 kHz

STORAGE MEDIA:
Korg: Internal 2.1 Gbyte hard disk
Boss: 100 MB Zip Disks

WEIGHT:
Korg: 5.7 lbs.
Boss: 6 lbs. 10 oz.

NUMBER OF "VIRTUAL" TRACKS:
Korg: 400 tracks (50 songs X 8 tracks)
Boss: 64 Virtual tracks

INTERNAL MEMORY:
Korg: 2.1 GB
Boss: Removable Memory Only

After that I think the Korg sounds much better!! It weighs less, it has more memory(aren't Gbytes much bigger than MB??). It even has more virtual tracks! What do you think?

Andrew! :)

Yeah Mars music has the d8 for under 6 as well. Problem with D8-You can't save your songs on a disc of any sort to remix them later. That's the advantage of the br8

I have the Korg D8, and it is an excellent machine, but it doesn't have a 2.1 gb. hard drive. The D16 has the 2.1 gb. hard drive, the D8 has a 1.4 gb. hard drive. You can always buy an external SCSI hard drive though.
