I downloaded the entire pdf manual (mine came "used") on to three hundred and seventy some odd pages and on not ONE of them does it tell me in any specific way how to program AND store for use in a song. After 5 hours of trying I can find my way around the drum editing room pretty well. I just cant seem to make the pattern STICK and its driving me nuts. I can switch p-085 to u-010 or make pattern on the measure board, but then I lose control of tempo and changes. When I go to adjust them I keep losing them! Is the video worth it or can someone tell me if Ii was a snake it would would have bitten me.? Do I need the descrete drum cd? i dont have it but pattern and arrangement sound like alot of different kits,ao is it on board? i backed it all up (effects/loops).
Frustrated
Email me @ smackjackie@.gmail.com and I will work out a PAYPAL transaction if you can get this to work.

Hey Phillip,
Firstly Welcome to the Forum, Hang around and we will sought this problem out.
When you create a pattern on the measure board are you using the preset patterns to compile a drum track or are you using real time recording/step recording?
If you are creating your own patterns using real time/step recording you will need to save each pattern you create.
If you are just using the preset patterns to compile a drum track you should be able to construct a series of patterns together and change the tempo at will without losing them. I am at work at the moment, if you could just give me a few more details to exactly what you are doing step by step I will try to help with this problem which I am sure is just an error in the process being used.
As regards to the Discrete Drum CD I could burn you a copy and send it to you if you desire, not a problem. :)
