Risky i know- and i'm not even a singer!!

Anyways,,,not a lot to say...did a cover, tell me what you think. :D

Still tweaking away at it, but it's more or less as good as i wanted/expected.

Enjoy.

What are you talking about Paul you nailed those vocals!

Outstanding. Love the sound of the vocals. Harmonies are great. Mix is solid, very well balanced. The only thing I notice that sounds a bit odd, and maybe it's just me, but the Toms seem a bit disconnected. They sound more distant and roomy than the rest of the kit. Especially noticeable in the intro and the tom fills at around 0:20. Overall, I think you've done a great job with this one.

Thanks for the feedback.
Those vox are growing on me Henry :) maybe i'll do some more while i'm "between jobs"

Zero, what an observation.

I borrowed the opening tom from the original track temporarily and forgot to go get my own sample to replace it with.

I played with the verb on the rest of (my) toms to try to make the intro group blend, so i guess that's why they stand out.
Well spotted!!!

Something to look at; Thanks :)

OK, i gave it a break for a little while.
I think i'm finished.

I'm listening on h/phones & the tom run doesn't seem to move across the soundstage - I'm used to that - sort of a convention.
The vocals work well - not Bowie but that's the point isn't it.
Harmony vocals work a treat.

you should be a singer because you have great voice. Just a little bit of that Brit accent and you'd be Bowie. As for mix, I would drop the vocals a db so that it can sit in the mix rather than dominate so much.
