Hello. Any folks out there know how to do an internal track bounce on a Teac A-3440 open-reel 4 trk? I currenty have a Yamaha MM30 mixer hooked up tp the deck. Thanks.

1) Send your the outputs of your tape-machine's recorded tracks into the line inputs of your mixer.
2) Mix your recorded tracks to the desired levels.
3) Using your mixer, send the "mixed" signal of your recorded tracks back into the empty track input of the reel-to-reel. (this can be done by bussing your mix to the subgroup outputs, or just using your mix outputs)
Ahhh, the 3340S. Makes me feel all warm inside.
Did you say "S"?
Camus has you going the right direction for bouncing.
Are you open to a second 3340 or a 4 track machine for mastering? I think most of the Eagles first album was demoed between a 3340 and a Dokorder 4 tracker.
Aahhh, the rollcall of great albums that have been made from bouncing off one 4/8 track to another......
Every Beatle/Beach Boy album from 63-69, every Phil Spector hit single, every marijuana-fueled, Lee Perry dubbadown, every crazed Joe Meek classic......
