Hey guys,
I was try to extract a session from cubase to put it in tools the other day, and came across a few problems:
on certain tracks (say vocals) there were multiple regions corresponding to different punch in/outs. now when i selected the track and from the menu chose "bounce selection" it would bounce down as an AIFF file (thats what i chose).
it would do that, and an AIFF would be created containing the right stuff, but it would disappear after a while. i mean the file would still be there, but like there was no sound in it. i did this multiple times and tried many different players (whcih normally play AIFFs) on the computer and they would play the file, but make no sound.
in the end i had to just import each region seperately and line it up by hand..which was a bore i can tell you.
so what gives?
by the way this was a cubase session created on PC which i then opened on a G4 and tried to put into Tools on the G4.
