I am a newbie working with a Fostex MR-8 having only the original chip capacity which I thot was about 25 min - maybe that is not right. I recorded a 4-track song (keyboard, guitar, vocals) and bounced it to 7-8 and then tried to convert it to WAV Stereo. At that point, the display indicated not enough space. My assumption is that during bouncing and conversion to WAV the tracks capacity use keeps being duplicated. Is that correct? Is that why I finally ran out of room? Is there any means of deleting some of the original tracks after bouncing? --- And yes I have pretty much decided that I had better pick up a card for extra capacity. Are there suggestions on where to get best buy on that?

Is that correct?

Yes.

Unless I'm doubting the mix on the bounce and thinking about remixing I typically wipe the source tracks after a successful bounce.

I usually get my memory cards here .

.

Thx sssscientist --- Appreciate confirmation of my info and the link for memory cards.
