Hi, Everyone!
I've been using my VS-880 V-expanded for about a week now and just love it so far! I'm now trying to remember if it's possible to bounce all 8 tracks down to just 1 on this model? When I was researching before I bought the recorder, I read so many different specs and know that somewhere I read something about being able to do this!
If so - how is this done? I guess the more specific question is can you bounce down TO a track you're bouncing from? For example, right now I have a song where all 8 tracks are full, and I need to bounce 3 separate vocal tracks onto a 4th track that also has vocals to leave the other 3 tracks open again... Is this possible? If so, how?!!
I'm also getting all confused with the virtual tracks! When I bounced tracks 1-6 to 7 & 8, I then forgot to switch to Virtual track 2 for the re-recording of 1-6 and now I have little chunks of the original music popping in and out of those tracks! I copied the chunks I needed onto Virtual track 3 and that seemed to work...
This is fun, but sure challenging to learn! I'm finding the manual doesn't give many specific instructions/examples and doesn't even have an Index at the back!! Is there a better manual/book somewhere?
Thanks so much for any help!
