Bounce from 2 tracks to 1 - possible?

It seems that on the D16 (unlike the D8) you can't do something as simple as simple as bouncing from two tracks (or any other number of tracks for that matter) to only one track. It has to be to a minimum of two tracks.

Can this be right?
