Bounce files(wav) as per timeline for other DAW Mixing

Can anyone help me out as to how should I Bounce all my Reaper WAV files as per timeline to be able to take my project and Mix it in any other DAW. For now I want to mix it in Pro Tools LE.

How will the files get Bounced as per timeline?

Also I have heard that one can convert Reaper project in Pro Tools/Cubase and vice versa. How are the results for the same?
 
not sure what you mean by timeline, but I think you are talking about clips that are not the entire length of the song.

One thing that is common for sharing files on multiple platforms is to put a sync tone at the very beginning of each track. This is usually a synthetic sound that has a very defined waveform.

Now as you import tracks back into any DAW, line up the sync tones of all the tracks and everything should then be where it is supposed to be.
 
"File > Consolidate/Export Tracks..." will render each track for use in another DAW.

As for conversion to other formats, you'll need the AATranslator software. I can't comment on the conversion personally, but I hear it does a great job!

Thanks dbop will try out what you suggested and try and mix as it is. As far as the project file goes can any Project files be converted into any?

And Washburn that sync tone thing is also a cool idea but really dont know how to go about with it. If you can demonstrate something.

It's quite easy. Just copy and paste a tone at the 0:00 mark of each track. I'm a member of Kompoz.com and people from all over the world collaborate on songs. Because we all use different DAW's and gear, it's a great way to share tracks. Have a look at their tutorials and it shows how:

Washburn you mean to say any sound starting at 0.00. But what if the tracks are all over the place, suppose if there a flute solo part at the time 2.30 so should i add a sound just before when that solo starts and similarly for all tracks?

You could also make each track the entire length of the song (inserting silence where there is no audio), so that every clip starts at 0:00 and will line up the same way in another DAW.

You need to bounce all the individual tracks down to .wav similar and then the other person imports them into his DAW. Like Phil said, you could insert silence. I use Sonar not Reaper so I don't know what the steps in Reaper are, but it's fairly similar for all DAWS. In Sonar, when you export, you are given the option to export the mix or each individual track. So each track is the length of the song and the timeline says correct. If I reimport that flute track, it will still be at 2:30.

The reason for the sync tone is that sometimes, the song doesn't actually start at 0:00, I may have 2 beats of a click track, or after editing, the song has shifted over some or there may be 2 seconds of silence before the song starts for CD mixdown.
 
Just solo the tracks one at a time and export them one at a time. They'll line up anywhere.

Though, I just learned something new from d.bop's "File Consolidation" tip. Thanx.
