I think I've found a cheap Boss SE-50 stereo effects processor but it has no power supply.

1) Does the thing sound any good?
2) What would be about the 'right' price for this?
3) What power supply would I need? Just a normal 12V adaptor?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Hmm, depends much on the use you'd have with the SE-50. I have the unit, and I'd say I only use it on modulating effects (chorus, phaser, flanger). The reverbs are muddy and really color your sound (note: SE-50 is from 1991 or something). Heck, my ancient Microverb III works better as a reverb device. And the delay times are long, but again, the sound isn't very usable. But as a chorus etc. device, this unit is great. The vocoder part is a nice plus.

Mine works with a 9 volt AC power supply.

Cheers, Mikko
