Boss Me-50 Synthesizer ?

ANybody else use their Boss ME50 as a synthesizer ?

I was reading in the manual, that when you set
the BigMuff Distortion to "Sqaure" and use the
resonance pedal, and delay and reverb and chorus,
you can use the pedal as a synth !

I tried it and, yep, it makes weird synth noises !

You can get all kinds of crazy noises. Also, you
can play guitar through it as a trigger, or input a
keyboard thorugh it as a trigger !!!

Anybody else try this ?


(I can't afford a real synth right now, so this is cool !)

yes, do it all the time. It's excellent, although monophonic, and really shines in it's wierdness and musicality with a guitar as a controller (if you're a guitarist that is). I can get very experessive fx through my me-50, that's one of many. Also with the me-50 and pitch shifting through the pedal up an octave I can play radiohead stuff (from the bends) live with a band.
