Hi i bought this FX processor a few years ago ...and i'm still not 100 % how to get the best out of it...

I play an Epiphone Les Paul(getting new Di Marzio pu's soon) through my Marshall MG100 DFX ...

How do i connect my pedal to the amp to get the best sound from it...

The preamp settings on the pedal don't sound very good the way i use it at the minute...the only thing i really like about the pedal is the digital delay ....can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

PS the reason i want to know is because my band which has just formed a few months ago have gigs lined up in the next few weeks and i want to get the best sound i possibly can ...we play heavy AC-DC / Zeppelin sounding riffs

i usually just plug the pedals output into the marshall amp's input...What can i do to make the most of this equipment??

I purchased a GT6 not so long ago and performed with it I like it. My setup is similar to yours infact I also have a gibson, les paul junior and a marshall valvestate. I found some of the default effects cool but playing around to find your own sound is choice. you chose the core sound eg jazz fussion and you tweak it with the onboard eq etc... remember you can chose virtual cabinets 1x 12, 2x 10 or watever there is quite a bit you can do to a defaults but get your core sound good then you can add two effects over eg flanger wah wah. I output from 1/4 in into line in on marshall, then add my reverb there plus tweaking on eq. I have played straight into DI then into PA still pretty good. remember to save your settings in a bank so you got them there. I am still learning about it but am happy with what I bought.
