Any one know where I can find a maual for the Boss DR-5.I looked for one at the Roland sight .Maybe I missed it somehow.Help if you can ..Thanks, Earl D.

I wonder if I pick up a Boss DR-5 if [even with a manual]I will be able to fighure out how to use the thing.Can anyone tell me how much programing smarts it takes to use this device...Much thanks for any replies...Earl D.
 
Check ebay, these sell some manuals on there sometimes...

You need to magnify it a pretty good bit to be able to read it very well.

I don't have the links anymore because I sold my DR. 5, but there are some websites out there that have tutorials for the Dr. 5 for all levels of use from beginner to advanced. do a search.

I want you folks to know that I greatly appreciate all the help and advice that I get on this board.And I am perticularly thankful when someone goes to the trouble of including links to useful web sights.Thank you Kramer for the links that ,indeed led to my very salvation.And now i have to figure out what LAMO means.

yeah, i'll take the points when i can get them! seriously though, sometimes it helps to know what to look for. dr. 5 in google brings up too much shit unless you put "tutorial" with it. maybe he didnt' think of that.

Yeah I know.LOL.I was mostly just joking with him since "I" did do some Google searching and posted a few things for him to check out.LOL....I dont mind though.I like scouring the net looking for the impossible.;)

I like to see the joking and stupid jargon Kramer,it adds personality to the forum.And the really great thing ,is that now with the DR5 I can throw away my guitars and and let the little box of buttons play my music.Ha !Keep on Keepin on.Earl D.
 
Hey Earld i noticed you were bidding on 2 of the same DR-5's I was... I ended up getting the other one you did'nt, I payed 150.00 when all was done... good luck figuring out how to use your's, I hope its not to hard to program, cuz I know nothing...
Also I just got my VF80 today and damn it looks complicated....

I have been pretty lucky with ebay so far.Hope this continues.I believe that the DR5 will be usefull for laying down backing tracks for the simple blues stuff that I like to play.We will see.The stuff kramer led me to, is going to be very usefull...Good luck...Earl D.
