hi im new to this so just keep that in mind.

i have been using the boss br900 for about a year and know everything on the thing including the drum patterns etc so i have made a lot of songs which have come out great but now i am doing some experimental song which require a lot tracks to be bounced to free up more tracks, so the time signature needs to be accurate so i don't run into future problems like i am doing now.
my question is can i use a metronome while recording tracks? or can the metronome only be used for drum looping etc

thanks for reading my post hope this makes sense, any questions just let me know

You might wanna' try posting this in the Roland/Boss equipment forum. You might get more response.

The 'metronome' feature is only a sample for the rhythm track on the BR600, I assume it is the same for the BR900. You could record it to a track (using the bounce feature) and use it that way.

thanks

yea i think your right, bouncing it to a track would still work as good then i can just mute it out of the recording. i thought they would have been a way but i just wanted a second opinion. thanks

hey good songs i just added you on myspace reminds me a bit of neil young.
some of my songs still need vocals added to them i don't have the mics yet for the job.

Thanks - not sure how much like the Neilster I sound like, though! Funny thing is I've got one of his guys doing my CD mastering!
