Anyone know of any good books about how to build a recording studio? It would be nice if it had information regarding building from scratch (site construction and all) as well as how to most fittingly adapt an existing space.

Thanks,
Peter

I just started reading "How To Build A Small Budget Recording Studio From Scratch" By F. Alton Everest and Mike Shea. I think it's quite good so far. - Jason

Yes, it's a great book. I just got my copy a few days ago and I'm finding it very useful. Note that the $118 price at Amazon is way out of line. I got mine for $80 at the Barnes & Noble web site. Not that $80 is cheap. But it really is worth it for anyone who's all serious about this stuff.

Helpful Site

Hey Leavings,

I don't know of any good books, but here's a neat site with lots of pictures of lots of studios being built and the stages they go through. It might be helpful.
