Bob Dylan & Johnny Cash in the Studio

The mics are well placed to reject the other guy's voice and for eye contact between them. Not so good for rejecting the guitars but that's always a problem.

Remember this is being shot with a movie camera which would have made noise in the studio. Maybe this was a dummy run just for the camera. They seem just a little too casual. Dylan stuffs up the ending but I think that's his joke..

Sounds like Bob's Nashville Skyline voice. He did one duet with JC on that. Maybe this was the reject song from that album.

I've always loved this Dylan tune, but the only version of it I've ever heard was off the 1966 Royal Albert Hall official bootleg. Awesome to see this duet - I've always loved Nashville Skyline. The outro was a little too loose, but I'm sort of bummed they didn't keep working on this.
