alright.
i was actually gonna go pick up the quattro today after work, but after reading all the comments on here and the reviews on the zz website, I am starting to change my mind. I have had some great help here before so i am gonna try to see if I can get a good recommendation.

I have an older (about 6yrs old) HP and Dell
I have been running a dman2044 from the HP and I am thinking it is on its way out b.c there is a good amount of static in the recordings that I have used advice from here and still cannot find the problem. So what I am wondering is if I should look into the delta 44 or 66 instead of the quattro - keeping in mind my computer is a bit old but ran the dman very well. I am hoping to keep the price down as much as possible but any recommendations would be good. I am not looking at doing anything large - just mainly small solo recordings- which have never been a problem (less the recent static in the tracks).

so if anyone can vouch for an older HP or dell being able to run the delta with no problem I will test it out and see if it is a good fit.

well

i did some more reading and using the search function found some good comments about the 66 and 44 upgrade from the dman (and using the pod plug and play fxns as well) --

I guess I will leave it with the assumption my computers will be able to handle either one, although I am partial to the 66 right now.

If anyone has an older HP or Dell and is running a delta 44 or 66 in it, can you tell me how it has been running.
