This is a bluegrass song I mixed. I play in this band - I'm the lucky one, I get to pick the banjo! yeah
Anyway, I did my best with what I know. Thought I'd run it across you guys to see what you thought of it after doing some fixes recommended to me from this forum.
I liked the song a lot. Good performances all around. Very tight all around.
The mandolin has a little clicky high-end thing going on that's a little distracting and hard on the ears.
The vocal is lacking some clarity. The instruments are quite clear by comparison. It gives the feeling that the backing band and the singer are in different places.
The bass could probably come up just a bit. Bluegrass purists would probably disagree.
