Edit: to get zero-latency monitoring with your microphone, disable "listen to this device" in your microphone's properties (in recording devices). Then, in the playback tab, go into your microphone's output (e.g. Speakers: Yeti Stereo Microphone), and unmute your microphone in the levels tab.

YES! This is the solution to eliminating any latency in the Yeti.

And yet this and other Web resources are cluttered with misinformation about solving this problem. (Which SHOULD have been addressed in the Yeti's owner's guide.) Other advisors will have you chasing down drivers and similar time-wasting pursuits.

But of course the Yeti doesn't use a driver. What you're basically doing here is setting up the Yeti as if it were a headphone/mic combo.

How to resolve latency problem with Yeti Blue mic, Nicecast on a Mac

I am trying to stream an internet radio broadcast with voiceovers using a Yeti Blue microphone, Nicecast, and an iMac. I cannot do so because of the extreme latency/echo I get through my headphones connected to my mic. The mic company says I shouldn't be getting any echo with their mic, but I certainly do. Does anybody have a solution to this situation? If so, please let me know - in layman's terms - what I have to do and how. Thanks!
