Blue Yeti or Blue Yeti Pro?

I need a usb mic that i can use for recording acoustic guitar and vocals into garage band. From the looks of it, the regular Blue Yeti seems to do everything i need. But then i look at the Yeti Pro and it has an XLR input that i'm thinking might come in handy for somethings in the future (though i'm not sure what those things are)

it also is capable of recording in better quality.

I'm not sure whether it is worth spending the extra $100 for the pro. Should i get a little bit more then i need now for future investment?
 
i too would like to know.. i dont care about the XLR input but i was wondering if the additional hz was really worth it.. and can produce more studio like quality..
