Is there a work around to enable to hear the music / back track via the computer speakers yet still use the Yeti microphone for voice??? I prefer to practice/vocalize singing with and without headphones on but there seems to not be the option unless I use a different mic and unplug the Yeti :(

Right click the speaker at the bottom right of your screen and select Playback Devices right click on your soundcard output (or "Speaker" output) then click Set as Default Device.

And be ready for feedback! The mic will pick up the sound of the speakers, starting a feedback loop. That's why headphones are used when tracking with a mic.

Yup. Nothing like the jump up, arms a flailing, while reaching for every knob in the studio reaction to help one in their learning curve. :laughings:

Yeah, but I hate when someone comes in and asks a question on thier first post and gets a newbie response which is off the mark. Gives HR.com a bad name!

Okay, thank you for the wisdom!! Yay! I wouldn't want feeback or extra sounds so no real work around without causing other problems. I would need the speakers in the other room... on low to not have them picked up, then I wont be able to hear the music.... hahahaha. So a switch to my other mic if speakers are perferred, got it :D
