BLUE Spark or Rode NT1-A ???

I'm buying a mic tomorrow for vocal recording, and these two are available locally, and have good reviews. I'm baritone, slightly nasal by nature, but can sculpt that out a bit. I need this mic mostly for lighter pop-rock, rather than heavier. Pick one.

Thank you.

The NT 1a is a thin sounding mic. It can sound quite good though, through a joemeek vc3 preamp, because they(joemeek) have a super thick sound. Otherwise try using plugins that add a lot of saturation to fill in the mid, if the tracks sound too thin. Otherwise it might work ok for your baritone voice.

Not sure I would call the mic 'thin' sounding. Definitely harsh in the upper midrange tho. I have had no luck with it for vocals, but was great on the hole of an acoustic 12 string. Just a couple of cents of my opinion.
