I appreciate HomeRecording.org

Wow ... you appreciate it so much you made it a new name and URL!

People who sign up specially to pimp quite often find the community reacts against them. Just warning ... y'know ... it'd be shame if you were some fly-by-night money-grabber ... y'know ...

I did sign up to homerecording.org in order to post this ad. However, I do read homerecording.com from time to time and I do appreciate it (and have learned a few things along the way) although I spend substantially more time at other forums (for the record my favorite is probably 3DAudioInc).

Noisedude, I really appreciate you giving me a "warning" rather than just "reacting against me" outright. FYI, if I was a "money-grabber", the last thing I would be doing would be buying a new microphone and then selling it for less money a few years later. You see, in order to be a true "money-grabber", you have to actually try to MAKE MONEY (hence the "grabbing" part).

As for sidekick mshilarious's comment, I have to admit that I am currently attending a 12 step Keyword-Spammer's Anonymous (KA) group so whenever I get to step 9, I will send everyone an apology.

Given your comments, I have to say that I would most certainly rather NOT have one of you two get this sweet mic and I will gladly withdraw my offer of free shipping for both of you.

Here is a hypothetical situation: Lets say you had a chance at buying a reasonably priced RCA 77-DX, but in order to have enough cash (and in order to get the wife's approval), you had to sell one of your mics (perhaps a Blue Dragonfly) at a decent price (say, ~$500), what would you do?

I can tell you what you would do. You would put it up on ebay and tell as many people as possible about it by posting in whatever free classified ad areas you could find and hope that they bid on it. You might even try a marketing gimick like offering "free shipping" to get more people interested. You might even put a few extra keywords in the Ebay description so that someone looking for an AKG C414 might see your Dragonfly and bid on it instead. What is wrong with that?

That's fine - I'm just saying that time here has shown me that people who do that often do not receive positive responses on the forum. :)

Wait - did he say that Mshilarious is my sidekick? I've finally arrived!!! :D:D:D:D
