I took some nice photo's of my studio while I was recording a bigband.

i can't see a single thing besides somethign resembling a large frame console, a window, and some people shaped things.
 
while looking under the table....

hold on! I KNOW I have a microscope somewhere....... ;)

How many mics was used??

Were they good? any problem recording them? :)
 
Love recording Big Bands :D:D I used to record a full setup with strings as well live to multitrack 3 times a week when I was working for a TV station that was putting out 3 live shows a week all with prerecorded music tracks.

I love to take the pictures without the cameraflash. With the flash it looks like the musicians are sitting in my livingroom, without the flash you get much more studioambience on the pic.

Setup was approx 40 tracks rec.

1/2 stereo Groovetubes
3-18 horns all individual
19-26 drums&percussion
27-34 horn overdubs, extra parts
35-40 choir/vocals

In the end we didn't use the stereopair.
