Big Problem!

i used to have cool edit and it worked properly... but then i formatted my PC and installed winxp pro... now it crashes when its loading the layout... i ignore the cause of this problem... (other proggies that crash with my computer: the new Y! messenger and Visual C++ Pro)...

Well here is some info.

Onboard Video and sound card
256 MB (8M for video)
1280 x 1024 resolution
WIN XP PROFFESSIONAL...
double partition (cool edit installed in secondary)

I Had Windowblinds installed and i deactivated the theme i had and it worked properly (even Y! messenger) so i decided to uninstall it... but now that i don't have it, it doesn't work again...

XP is a memory hog, and a resource hog. If you only have 256 mb of memory, you're going to have trouble running some progs.... however, I don't necessarily think that's what your problem is.

It sounds to me, like you're running pirated versions of the software, and it's not loading properly.

i dont know what the problem is, but i know it's not windowblinds. i use that and CEP and everything else just fine. i'd reccomend more memory though, for sure.
 
mm it worked

It worked properly out of the blue.... I Don't have idea of what caused it... but it's working... and my copy is perfectly legal :).
