im thinking of getting a tascam m3500 mixer 32-Channel, 8 Buss, 6 Aux Sends, In-line Console, Mic Pre on every channel, In-line Console Equalizer on every channel and hooking it strait up to my motu 828 firewire interface, you got a problem with that?

tell me why punk! go ahead make my day mwaahaahaaahaa

Nop, no problem here except that it is a little setup :p

Got a 40 ch. inline soundtracs productions console fully automated with TT-patchbay, coupled to 40 tracks of tascam DA88 and are replacing at the moment the tascam for:

32 in/out on motu running into a G5 dual 1,8.

Who beats me!;)

Zappa,
Thats the same board I use. I go through a couple of St Audio C-ports and then into SONAR. The Dual fader design is great for monitor mixes and is usually something you only see on more expensive consoles. Alot more useful than my mackie 3208. If you have any questions about the quality of the pre-amps check out the recording "stay" at the link below.....Just the board pre-amps and a marshall V63M....still sounds great.

Stay

You'll be happy w/it.

thanks for your input i think im going with a 24 channel ahb board instead the preamps in the AH&B boards are more superior than tascams, even though im getting less channels im getting better quality trim and the sound of superiority.

oooh yeaaaa
