Big 808 boom?

Where do you find these samples? Do you buy them from somewhere or something? A hardcore band I recorded wants to add a couple in some of their songs but I have no idea where to find them.

I make my own with a free software called Stomper, works great and you can totally customize the sounds.
I'll see if I can find a link.

What is it with hardcore bands and "bass drops"? They all want that shit these days.

When you consider these are the same folks who can't type the word "stomper" into Google and find that address on the third listing down, above the page fold...and can't type in "free 808 kick samples" into that same search engine and get 158,000 responses, are you that suprised?
